Dinner & Auction
Every spring, HCS hosts our annual Dinner Auction. This is our largest fundraiser for the year, and a chance for community members, families, and donors to support our school. Silent and live auction items, raffles, and a fully-catered meal provided by Componere Fine Catering finish the evening.
Walk-a-Thon
Our annual Walk-a-Thon and Carnival (held every October) is the second largest fundraiser for our school! The carnival features several games such as a dunk tank involving staff and board members, a sponge throw at a Jr. Higher, a bounce house, cookie decorating, and others. The raffle tent features several items for bidding; the dessert auction features several decadent gourmet treats and is run by a silent bid. Our concession stand offers several treats for sale such as drinks, cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones, and more.
Kelsey Thomas Foundation
Kelsey was a vivacious 14-year-old girl who loved people, loved to read, and loved to laugh. She went to be with the Lord, her precious Savior, on September 2009. We continue to miss her, but this scholarship fund will keep her memory near us. Her life affected so many of us, and she will continue to touch others through this special fund.
Harvest Christian School was founded with a vision to open the doors to all who value a Christian education for their children, and believe in the vision set forth by Harvest, “Shaping livers for eternity”.
The Kelsey Thomas Fund represents a significant step forward in achieving this vision, by strengthening the schools ongoing stability and delivering on our promise to the families who desire a Christian education.
Kelsey Thomas embodied the characteristics of a child and young adult that followed Christ wholeheartedly, and influenced her peers by her light. From all tragedy, life will always spring forth as we seek God to show us His will and purpose during difficult times. By contributing to this fund you will affect generations to come. Please consider joining this important opportunity to contribute to an impactful endeavor for shaping lives for eternity.
Volunteer
Harvest Christian School relies upon the significant work and energy of parent and community volunteers. Each family who has a child enrolled is responsible for 15 hours of volunteer work. Additionally, each classroom enjoys the participation and effort of volunteer help. If you are interested in volunteering, or need to fulfill your required hours, please contact the office.
